Xiaomi Yi Sports Camera

Introduction

Look

It is built with prime quality plastic and does not look cheap at all. Presently it comes in two colors, Sea green back with yellow front and white. At front side, it has On-Off switch and lens. At the top, it has small shutter button along with LED light to show whether video is in-progress or not.

Sensor

It is equipped with Sony Exmor R BSI CMOS 16 MP f2.8 Sensor. Video quality is the USP of this camera. It can record upto 240 frames per second with 480P. 30/48/60 frames per second with 1080P full HD and 120 frames per second with 720P. It captures full HD video with 155° wide angle lens.

Battery

Shipped with removable 1010mAh lithium-ion battery, which lasts for 1 and half hour with video recording. The good thing is, battery could be charged while recording.

Accessories

Various accessories are available in the market for Yi. In fact, accessories available for GoPro Hero could be used with Yi also. Cycle clamp, car dashboard suction cup, under water kit, Head/Arm/Chest support gear etc.
